How Solana token creators price their tools

The advertised fee is rarely what you pay. This page explains the pricing models you will run into, how to work out the real total on any tool, and where we sit. We would rather you left able to check for yourself than take our word for anything.

Written by MintOnSol · Figures checked August 2026

Read this first. We run one of these tools, so we are not a neutral source. Nor is anyone else. Almost every "best Solana token creator" comparison you will find is written by one of the tools being compared, and it always concludes that the author wins.

So this page avoids ranking anyone. It explains how the pricing works, gives you a method to check any tool yourself in under a minute, and states plainly where other tools beat us. Competitor prices change often and many are only shown after you connect a wallet, so treat every number here as a starting point rather than a fact.

The three pricing models

Almost every tool uses one of these. Knowing which you are looking at tells you more than the headline number does.

Low base fee, paid extras Most common

A small advertised price, then separate charges for the things that make a token safe to hold: revoking the mint authority, the freeze authority, the update authority, and sometimes adding your website and socials.

This is the model that catches people out, because the features being charged for are not optional extras in practice. A token with a live mint authority is one the creator can inflate at will, and buyers check.

Seen in August 2026: base fees from 0.06 SOL, with roughly 0.1 SOL per authority revoked. A safe launch lands near 0.33 SOL.
Flat all in fee What we do

One price covering creation, metadata, links and every authority revocation. Nothing is added at checkout.

Easier to compare, and it is what you want if you intend to revoke everything, which most community tokens should.

Ours is 0.06 SOL, plus roughly 0.006 SOL that Solana itself charges for account rent and validator fees. Others in this model sat between 0.15 and 0.5 SOL.
Free creation, different model No fee

Bonding curve launchpads create the token free and make money on trading instead. The trade off is control: the platform manages liquidity algorithmically until your token reaches a threshold.

If you want a bonding curve launch, use one of these rather than us. Genuinely a different product, not a cheaper version of the same one.

Best if you want built in discovery and do not mind giving up control of liquidity during the early phase.

Work out the real cost yourself

One question cuts through all of it. What does it cost to launch with all three authorities revoked? Ask that of any tool and the marketing falls away.

Where other tools beat us

A comparison page that finds no fault with its author is not worth reading. These are real.

The command line is cheaper than everyone

Solana's own CLI creates a token for network fees alone, with no platform fee at all. If you are comfortable with it, that is genuinely the cheapest route and no no code tool will beat it. What you pay us for is not doing that.

We do not do liquidity

Some tools bundle market creation and liquidity pool setup. We deliberately do not, because building that badly would risk your deposit and we would rather send you to Raydium or Meteora, who do it properly.

We are Solana only

If you plan to launch the same token across Base, BSC or Ethereum, a multi chain tool will serve you better than we will.

We are new and small

This is run by one developer. Established platforms have longer track records, larger support teams, and more people who have used them. That is a fair reason to choose one of them, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.

How to check any tool in a minute

Whichever you pick, including us, these four checks are worth doing.

1. Ask the total, with everything revoked. If the price only appears after you connect a wallet, that is worth noticing on its own.

2. Test on Devnet first. If a tool has no Devnet mode, your first attempt is happening with real money.

3. Read the wallet approval screen. It shows the exact amount leaving your wallet and where it goes. That is authoritative no matter what any website, ours included, tells you.

4. Verify the result on chain afterwards. Our free token checker reads the real authority state of any Solana token, including ones made with other tools. If a tool says it revoked something, check that it actually did.
