Switch your wallet to Devnet as well
Your wallet has its own network setting, and it has to match this one. In Phantom: Settings, Developer Settings, Testnet Mode.
If your wallet stays on Mainnet you will see a red "This dApp could be malicious" warning when you approve. In that case it only means the two networks do not match, and switching your wallet fixes it.

Token details

The number of decimal places for your token. Solana tokens typically use 9 decimals (standard for SOL and most SPL tokens).
The total number of tokens to create.

Links (optional)

Why add these? Wallets and crypto scanners (like Solscan or Dexscreener) use these links to prove your token is legitimate. Adding your official website and socials helps build immediate trust with your holders and prevents scam copycats from looking more official than you.
Optional, but highly recommended. These are embedded into your token's public metadata so wallets and explorers can display them.

Token image

Your Pinata account

Don't have one? Create a free account at app.pinata.cloud → API Keys → New Key → copy the JWT.
enable at least 'pinFileToIPFS' and 'pinJSONToIPFS' (or Admin).
Why do I need this? Solana tokens need a permanent place to store their image and details on IPFS. Using your own free Pinata account means the image files belong directly to you, and your key never touches our servers.

Authorities 🔒

Tip: Only untick these if you have a specific tokenomics plan (like a future treasury mint). Otherwise, leaving them checked builds immediate trust.
